Hand forged from reclaimed copper sheets. Centuries old traditional art form.
Made by heating and hammering. Lacquered inside & outside to protect the finish Makes a unique and a thoughtful gift. This process is repeated again and again until the correct form of the craft is obtained. The entire process is hand done and is extremely labor intensive. Copper changes color depending on how often it is heated. The final finish is done with a special hammer, and the piece is lacquered to protect it. Nine copper pots, fitting one into the other, were found in the vaulted cellar of the Milot house. Since they do not appear to have been used, they were probably intended for sale or for the fur trade.
